We are looking looking for volunteers and new members to the join the Stonewall Sports Boston Board and get involved!
Sports Coordinator(s) & League Coordinators
Coordinators run the best possible league for their sport. The league coordinator is the head person in charge of the league and is responsible for organizing every part of the league and asking for support from the greater organization.
- Act as the face of the league to captains and players
- Determine dates for season w/ Commissioner
- Update rules as needed
- Coordinate setup and tear down of the sport
- Manage team’s scores and standings
National Tournament Coordinator
The National Coordinator leads a contingent of players from Stonewall Sports Boston to the Stonewall National Tournament and any other tournaments (outside of those by Stonewall Sports Boston). They are responsible for organizing tournament logistics and asking for support from the greater organization.
- Lead fundraising efforts to defray costs of Tournament travel and participation
- Recruit players and market Tournament participation to our members
- Identify captains for any teams and assist with team creation
- Coordinate travel and lodging/logistics for Tournament teams, as necessary
- With the Finance Director, create a budget for Tournament participation
- Lead all other logistical items to create a smooth and fun Tournament experience for members
